To a lifetime friend

Someday we will look back on these days and say to ourselves, in our cracked old voices, “Well, honey, I don’t know how we did it back then.”

In my memory, June is a chilly and outrageously drippy month in our part of the world. What has come over this one, full of radiant blue-eyed days?

I love how bright food looks on a plate. And I love this guy, who is willing to eat salad with a knife & a jar from time to time.

I found more images than I could possibly use, and ended up dissolving into longlasting giggles on my couch, very late at night.
