You have a little drool there on your keyboard.
Still thinking about that spiced cider from yesterday, huh?
Alright, here’s the recipe. It’s getting that time of year, and the leftover mulled oranges are heavenly. My friends and I eat them off the rind, while they’re warm and soaked with goodness.
Slow Cooker Cider
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp whole cloves
1 tsp whole allspice
2 quarts apple cider
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 medium orange, sliced or wedged, rind still on
Place cinnamon, cloves, and allspice into a coffee filter package like I showed you yesterday. Place cider and brown sugar in a slow cooker; stir till dissolved. Add spice bag and oranges. Cover and cook on low 2-5 hours. Remove spice bag before serving.
