How to stop a fight

I knew I’d be glad I asked you. Super food ideas, ya’ll. Keep it coming.

Today I share, with permission, a composition from a younger Zook. It wasn’t intended for my eyes at all, but I stumbled across it–and fell in love with his perfect mix of humble pie and protest.

*Drop your arrows is family code for relinquishing retaliation.

I love this!!! This sounds very familiar…we didn’t have the “dropping arrows” idea!! That is just so cool! Our boys had this terrible game of “gotcha last” and one would just touch the tiniest touch and the other would haul off and punch! I bet you cannot guess which one did the punching! I love the “less spankings and more lego time”!!
