Hi folks,
Just popping in for a moment to let you know two pieces of exciting news for those of you who like good deals…
SALE
MennoMedia is running a promo on my book, Peanut Butter and Dragon Wings, through September 30. The book is currently 40% off if you order from MennoMedia.org with the coupon code BACK2SCHOOL. (This is your chance to buy gift copies for your friends!)
GIVEAWAY
On Friday, I will be co-hosting a giveaway on Instagram in collaboration with my talented friends Alison of White Hill Pottery, and Wendy of Zooks Farmhouse Soaps. We are offering one happy winner a copy of Peanut Butter and Dragon Wings, a beautiful pottery mug, and five bars of handmade soap. This giveaway will take place only on Instagram. The easiest way to make sure you don’t miss it is to follow @zookshari or @whitehillpottery or @zooksfarmhousesoaps. Each of us will be sharing the news there when it drops in two days. Stay tuned!
Hope you are enjoying your September.
– Shari
Good to hear from you again! You’ve been missed!
Sounds like fun!
???? I’m not seeing that your book is on sale on MennoMedia??? Can’t wait to read it tho.
Hmm. Did you use the links above or just search? Either should work, but the link straight to my book will make it easier…
Sorry. I’m a little blonde today. I just needed to enter the coupon code.????
No problem at all. I have lots of those days too. ????????
BTW-your giveaway has to be one of the best I’ve seen. Love, love love all the products…but maybe its because I know the people behind them too. ????
Oh thank you!! ❤️ I am very excited about it too.
Shari – not sure where to post this, but I’m re-reading your book. Amazing. So honest, insightful, wise. It’s like reading a very good counselling book sometimes. It’s like you went to a lot of good seminars, and internalized it all and were able to articulate it all; but in reality, it came through living the ache in every part of yourself, over a very long time.. it seems that the agony you have experienced has been combined with your heart for God, your gifted mind, your family heritage, your broad reading, the husband God has given you, etc, etc, in a way that can result in the nurture of many other souls….
Thank you so much, Judy! “Living the ache in every part” rings true for me, but also the list of grace-gifts you named gives me courage. God has been so good in the middle of pain. Thanks for your blessing and kindness. ❤
Just read a line on p137 that you might want to work into your talk at REACH – “I reach for help, and I reach to help, and in so doing I take my place in the chain of creatures holding to each other, clinging to Christ.” It wouldn’t make a bad guiding principle for REACH 😉
